Kutalii: to explore
Life moves fast, and as you’re off discovering yourself or exploring your world, there are essentials you need to take with you. Whether it’s your journal, laptop, books, or anything else, the Kutalii satchel is the perfect companion to easily load up, swing over your shoulder, and be off on your way.
This crocheted satchel is lightweight yet surprisingly sturdy, capable of holding several pounds of materials such as laptops and books. Have more stuff? The satchel body will actually stretch a few inches over time giving you more space, but uncompromising in strength and quality. A flap golds your valuables in with easy-open bamboo buttons. An adjustable strap fits you perfectly, with the buckle being hand made from scrap metal pieces and bamboo. On the front is a small pocket for stationary, cables, and other light accessories.
Hand-crocheted by a small group of young men and women, each satchel is carefully made, taking up to a week and a half to crochet each one. The materials are all local, made of high quality wools. Bold red, green, black and white stripes cross the body to display the iconic colors of Kenya, laid against an soft, natural light brown.
