Propelled to action by the disturbing presence of sexual trafficking in Cambodia, Jessica Hendricks founded The Brave Collection to awaken activists in the fight against it. With bracelets that celebrate empowerment, The Brave Collection is committed to reinstating that feeling in survivors as well as forging a global community between East and West. The Brave Collection donates 10% of the gross profits from each bracelet sold to anti-trafficking foundations in Cambodia and the US. They harness the power of social media as a platform to educate people about the nearly invisible issue of modern slavery. One brave founder helping many brave women with a uniquely Brave Collection.

Uniting East and West with more than just their call to activism, bracelets from The Brave Collection are made with local Cambodian products but with a goal to appeal to a Western clientele. Their goal is to help support and reinstate the unique art and culture of Cambodia that was quashed by the Cambodian genocide in the 1970s. To ensure authenticity of product and maximize positive impact, The Brave Collection hires fair-trade Cambodian artisans.

Cambodia suffered a genocide in the 1970s, decimating the once flourishing art community, and leaving young girls today vulnerable to human trafficking. Human trafficking is modern day slavery, and there are an estimated 30 million people across the globe who have been exploited. The Brave Collection works to provide job opportunities for Cambodian artisans, and empower survivors of trafficking to build a new life through education and skills training. Each bracelet is a token of freedom, and a symbol of the universal bravery that weaves together our global community. Wherever and whoever you are, you can take a stance for freedom.
