Hey, Mr. President, thought you were the one who cared the most about our nation? Think again. Scuba Steve is poised to give you a run for your money. Frustrated by the poverty existing in his own backyard, Steve Johnson set about to make a difference. He founded Scuba Steve Clothing Company on a student loan, operating out of the back of his car while living off of Chik-Fil-A. He slowly graduated to a sidewalk kiosk, caught the attention of the local news, and well, let's just say that Scuba Steve Clothing Company has come a long way. Steve's dream is to spread his message nationally, aiming to eliminate homelessness once and for all. Way to go, kid.
ABOUT Scuba Steve Clothing Company
My whole life I wanted to be a clothing designer so in college I started out of my car after I trademarked my lifelong nickname "Scuba Steve" upon trademarking I started out of my car selling my shirts soon after my car was repossessed and I started on foot and borrowed my moms car after she got off of work. After selling on foot for several months the local news heard about me and did a story on my struggle and brand, afterwards the local mall in Biloxi, MS contacted me and asked to try a kiosk so I did I started with 10 shirts and 20 bucks to my name and have gone on to sell and donate over 30,000 shirts. I was tired of seeing people give overseas when we have so many people in our own community suffering so when I was in a position to help I was going to give 1 shirt per shirt sold and that's what I do.
