Given their circumstances, orphans have very little chance to discover all the career opportunities that lie in store for them. Through Kite Child's Inspiration Series, they expose the foster children of Los Angeles to career opportunities with fun, interactive "career days." Their goal is to make the children feel like a part of the community while encouraging them to start thinking about prospective careers.
 Humanitarian
Kite Child's mission is to improve the quality of life for orphans worldwide, including children in orphanages or in the U.S. foster care system. Kite Child's Leather Bands for Learning initiative enables them to provide the educational resources children need to empower themselves and in turn, create stable, healthy futures.
ABOUT Kitechild
Kitechild is the first organization to provide online visiblity for orphanages and children’s homes around the world. Our mission is to elevate the standards of care for orphaned children left with no recourse but to be raised in an orphanage. With over 80 orphanage members in 23 countries, we developed a model that grounds itself in long term sustainable solutions, transparency, and efficiency that allows us to achieve visible and measurable results in the well-being of each child. The Kitechild homepage hosts some of the sustainable projects that have been developed to sustainably improve either the intellectual development, emotional stability or physical growth, of children living in orphanages.
