 Community
Indosole donates shoes to the Soles for Souls foundation throughout the US. Their goal is to educate Americans on the importance of re-purposing, reducing waste, and practicing sustainability. Indosole also organizes and participates in local beach clean-ups throughout Northern and Southern California. Talk about a lean, mean, Green machine!
 Eco-Friendly
Indosole believes in soles with soul. They take old motorbike tires in Indonesia otherwise bound for a landfill and re-purpose, re-image, and re-birth them into wearable products. Besides helping to organically reduce landfill waste, Indosole keeps their carbon footprint small by forgoing fuel-powered machines (besides the original motorbike to collect the tires, of course). To date, over 6,000 tires have been re-purposed 1 tire for every 2 pairs made. Got soul?
 Humanitarian
Indosole is also on a mission to create sustainable local jobs with a clean, fair, and healthy working environment. The Balinese workers who craft Indosole shoes by hand are fed and clothed properly (often benefiting from clothes donated from the US) and never overworked. Indosole helps Balinese communities by partnering with Calling On Others to help raise money for kids who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend school, and even by supporting two local teens in their dream to become pro surfers.
