DESCRIPTION It's Christmas morning in the Bacon household. Kids play with new toys amidst torn wrapping paper. A modest tree now relieved of its presents sits in the corner of the living room. The apartment is bustling with family. Twelve people share three bedrooms. Some even sleep on the floor. Tommy, center below, pays the rent. His son, little Tommy, right, stands shirtless. Latasha, right of center, whose leg is stretched out with a lit cigarette, is under house arrest because of a domestic depute with her children's father. Her son Breon, left, stands at the tree. The Bacons are like family to me, some of the first people I met years ago when I first arrived in Chester, PA.
