LGH is committed to the Ugandan communities it serves, reinvesting 100% of profits back into projects that benefit the communities themselves like setting bank up accounts for its workers, allowing people to start saving for their community, education, and homes for their children.
 Eco-Friendly
LGH advocates for recycling programs at home in the US, and their products are made with materials that would have been landfill-bound otherwise scraps of fabric become their Epoh bags, and recycled paper is turned into the Suubi jewelry line. LGH even installed solar cookers in their Ugandan communities to reduce carbon emissions while helping combat one of the biggest environmental health menaces in the developing world: indoor pollution from stoves.

LGH has a mission to provide jobs and sustainable way of life for its Ugandan workers. For example, LGH's installed solar cookers give families clean water every day. LGH workers also have weekly literacy and health classes so that they can further their own growth and learn skills for self-reliance and community benefit.

LGH gives 110% effort to ethical and fair business practices: all workers at LGH are guaranteed a safe, clean, and healthy working environment. There are no sweatshops, comfortable weekly incomes are provided (LGH buys each product from Ugandan artists at 3 times its local value!) and bank accounts help artists save their income.
