ABOUT LIBERATE APPAREL There's a saying that says if you feed a man a fish he will eat for a day but if you teach a man to fish he will eat for lifetime. After spending years working in the Dominican Republic and Haiti co-founders, Jackie King and Melanie Hunley decided they wanted to do something more to not just feed families today but give them the tools to empower them to rise out of the poverty they were living in.

They combined their experience in business, their love for fashion and their heart for the people in Haiti and the Dominican Republic to start a company that would combine all three. T his was start of Liberate Apparel, the idea is to Liberate women and create the opportunity for them to rise above poverty. They have designed a women's collection that is handcrafted with quality intended to bring out every woman's beauty. Each garment will made in the Dominican Republic and Haiti providing jobs and opportunities for women. In addition to providing a job, the ultimate goal is to provide education and resources for these women to help permanently change the direction of live for them and their families.
