Fittingly, the company Jatalo designs and markets culturally inspired products to support the education of underprivileged children around the world. At Jatalo, we sell culturally-inspired products to support the education of underprivileged children around the world. Today, millions of children globally are being left behind due to lack of a basic education. Even children who receive aid for tuition are often forced to attend school without proper textbooks and supplies, and as a result, dropout rates are high. In fact, research has proven that access to appropriate textbooks and materials is a primary determinant in ensuring the continuation of a child's education.
We've adopted a simple and effective model to address this
problem. For every backpack we sell, we donate a year's worth of textbooks to a child in need. For every bracelet we sell, we donate one textbook to a child in need. We work directly with affiliate schools in India, Thailand, Haiti, and Tanzania to ensure that the kids that need the support receive it.
Furthermore, you know a Jatalo backpack when you see one. When designing our products, we draw inspiration from art styles from around the world. We undergo a methodical research process and do our best to infuse these art styles into backpack designs for you to enjoy!
