HANDS is a movement of young philanthropists that want to change the world. Heeding the King of Pop's advice, they're starting with the man (or woman) in the mirror. HANDS members don Unity Bands as symbols of their movement for change. More than a bracelet, the Unity Band is a symbol of people working together toward the common goal of helping others. All proceeds from Unity Band sales go to a cause of HANDS' choosing. HANDS takes none of the money, but a whole lot of good karma. HANDS up, this cause deserves a double high five. |

HANDS ensures that their work benefits the local families around their home base of Akron, Ohio. They create projects in their community to help those in need. To date, they've raised an average of $1,200 each for various people and causes like Brittany, an 11 year old fighting an inoperable brain tumor, Bill, who is battling colon cancer, Kelly, who is fighting breast cancer, Michelle, who lost everything in her house in a fire, the family of James, a war veteran who passed away from skin cancer, as well as sending care packages to soldiers overseas and donating animal food to the Stark County Humane Society. |
